Appointments

  • President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed Dr. Benson A. Ateng’ as the Chairperson of the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis, up to 5th October, 2024, with effect from the 8th April, 2022. The appointment of Ben Sihanya* is revoked.
  • President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed Dr. Dominic Wamugunda to be the Chairperson of the President’s Award Kenya, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 18th March, 2022.
  • Cabinet Secretary for Health, Mutahi Kagwe, has appointed various persons to be members of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 18th March, 2022. The appointments* of Robert Nyarango and Terry Kiunge Ramadhani are revoked. 
  • Cabinet Secretary for Health, Mutahi Kagwe, has appointed various persons to be members of the Board of Directors of Kenyatta National Hospital, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 14th June, 2021. 
  • Cabinet Secretary for Health, Mutahi Kagwe, has appointed various persons to be members of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Medical Training College, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 19th July, 2021.
  • Cabinet Secretary for Health, Mutahi Kagwe, has appointed Winnie Beauttah to be a member of the Board of Kenyatta National Hospital, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 4th March, 2022. The appointment of Peris Bitutu Onsarigo* is revoked.
  • Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication, Technology, Innovation and Youth Affairs, Joe Mucheru, has appointed various persons to be part of the Taskforce on the Review of the Kenya Information and Communication Act, 1998. 
  • Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication, Technology, Innovation and Youth Affairs, Joe Mucheru, has appointed various persons to be part of the Technical Working Group on Community and Local Language Media Gubernatorial, Senatorial and Women Representative Debates. 
  • Cabinet Secretary for Lands and Physical Planning, Farida Karoney, has re-appointed Eunice Njoki Macharia to be the Chairperson of the Estate Agents Registration Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 10th January, 2022.
  • Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Gender, Senior Citizen Affairs and Special Programmes, Margaret Kobia, has appointed various persons to be members of ffie-Board of Trustees for the National Assistance Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 14th March, 2022.
  • Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture and Heritage, Amina Mohamed, has appointed various persons to be part of the Taskforce to Review the Kenya Cultural Centre Act, dated 29th March 2022. 

FINANCE SECTOR

  • The Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning, Ukur Yatani, has gazetted the Public Finance Management (Sinking Fund) (Revocation) Guidelines, 2022, dated 23rd March 2022. The Public Finance Management (Sinking Fund) Guidelines, 2021, are revoked.
