The National Assembly
PROCEDURAL MOTION
The House resolved to sit up to 8.00 p.m. with respect to the afternoon sittings of Wednesday, October 5, 2022, Thursday, October 6, 2022, and Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
MOTION- Debate on the address by the President (1st, 2nd & 3rd allotted Days)
The House resolved on the Majority Party. Kenya Kwanza was declared the Majority Party by the Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang’ula on Thursday afternoon sitting.
The Senate
MOTION – Debate on the address by H. E. the President during the opening of the 13th Parliament (1st, 2nd and 3rd allotted days)
Pursuant to Standing Order 32 (1), the Senate approved its Calendar (Regular Sessions) for the First Session of the Thirteenth Parliament (September to December, 2022), laid on the Table of the House on Wednesday, 5th October, 2022.
MOTION – Approval of the Senate calendar for the first session of the 13th Parliament.
Pursuant to Standing Order 32 (1), the Senate approved its Calendar (Regular Sessions) for the First Session of the 13th Parliament (September to December, 2022), laid on the Table of the House on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
On October 6, a number of Papers were laid on the Table among them,
1. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) (Transport Network Companies, Owners, Drivers and Passengers) Regulations, 2022 (Legal Notice No. 120 of 2022);
2. The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) Bank Supervision Annual Report for 2020.
