The Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Gender, Senior Citizens Affairs and Special Programmes, Prof Margaret Kobia, has appointed Judson O. Nyabuto and Ahmed Hussein Ahmed, as members of the Trustees of the Street Families Rehabilitation Trust Fund, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 5th August 2022.

Attorney-General Paul Kariuki has appointed Mary Gaturu to be a member of the Kenya Law Reform Commission, for a period of five (5) years.

Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya, Martha Koome, has appointed:

  • Various persons to be members of the National Council on the Administration of Justice  on Civil Justice Reforms for a period of 3 years.
  • Hon. Joseph Sergon as the Acting Principal Judge of the High Court of Kenya, with effect from 29th July, 2022.
  • Winifred Kamau to be a member of the National Council for Law Reporting, as the dean of the school of Law, University of Nairobi, in accordance with section 4 (1) (g) of the NCLR Act 1994, with effect from 20th May, 2021.

Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya, Martha Koome has revoked the appointment of Lydia Achode as the Principal Judge of the High Court of Kenya, with effect from 19th July, 2022, upon her appointment as Judge of the Court of Appeal.
