NATIONAL ASSEMBLY 

Currently on recess and set to resume regular sessions on 10th May, 2022.

However, the National Assembly convened a special sitting via an exceptional motion in honour of the third President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E the late Emilio Mwai Kibaki.

Communication from Chair

  • The demise of the third President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E Emilio Mwai Kibaki. 
  • Passage of the mediated version of the County Governments Additional Allocation Bill (Senate Bills No. 35 of 2021) by the National Assembly. The Bill will be presented to H.E the President for assent. 
  • Rejection of the Wildlife Conservation and Management (Amendment) Bill (Senate Bills No. 30 of 2020) by the National Assembly.

Motions

  • Senator Samuel L. Poghisio moved a motion on the Tribute of the Senate on the demise of the 3rd President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E the Late Emilio Mwai Kibaki.
