- Kivutha Kibwana, David Oginde and Charles Kanjama were among those shortlisted for the position of Chairperson of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
- National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula called for the establishment of direct flights between Kenya and Algeria.
- The Public Service Commission shortlisted 224 candidates who will battle it out for what is projected to be some 40 Cabinet Assistant Secretaries (CAS) slots.

- Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua reprimanded the National Police Service (NPS) for overseeing the eviction of around 105 families from a parcel of land which they had illegally occupied in Kiriko village, Rongai, Nakuru County, on Wednesday last week.
