NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

Members of the National Assembly have been at a week-long induction workshop at  Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi. The induction is set to end on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Opening of the Thirteenth Parliament shall be held in the National Assembly Chamber, Main Parliament Buildings, Nairobi, on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 2.30 p.m.

SENATE

Senators commenced their five-day induction programme in Naivasha, Nakuru County. This will be the 3rd Senate since devolution with 68 Senators; 47 elected and 21 nominated.

The Speakers of both the National Assembly and Senate have scheduled a joint sitting of the Houses on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 2.30 p.m. for the opening of the 13th Parliament.
