Appointments

  • The Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning, Ukur Yatani, has appointed Pius Mungai Nduatih to be the Chairperson of the Public Sector Accounting Standards Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 1st April, 2022.
  • The Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning, Ukur Yatani, has appointed various persons to be members of the Public Sector Accounting Standards Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 1st April, 2022.
  • The Cabinet Secretary for Devolution, Eugene Wamalwa, has appointed various persons to be members of the Board of Trustees of the Local Authorities Pension Trust, for a period of three (3) years, effective from 22nd April, 2022. 

TRANSPORT 

  • The Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works, James Macharia, has gazetted the toll rates for the Nairobi Express Way. 

ENERGY & WATER

  • The Director-General of Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority has gazetted notice of the prices of electrical energy that shall be liable to a fuel energy cost charge of plus 463 Kenya cents per kWh for all meter readings to be taken in April, 2022.
  • The Director-General of Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority has gazetted notice of the prices of electrical energy that shall be liable to a foreign exchange fluctuation adjustment of plus 73.14 cents per kWh for all meter readings taken in April 2022.
  • The Director-General of Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority has gazetted notice of the prices of electrical energy that shall be liable to a Water Resource Management Authority (WRMA) levy of plus 1.74 cents per kWh for all meter readings taken in April 2022.

  • The Chief Manager of Port Operations has gazetted notice of a list of goods that if not removed from the Customs Warehouse Keeper, Kilindini, within thirty (30) days from 22nd April, 2022, will be sold by public auction on 27th May, 2022.
