Appointments

  • The Chief Justice & President, Supreme Court of Kenya, Martha Koome, has appointed various persons to be ad hoc members of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal, for a period of one (1) year, with effect from 15th March, 2022.
  • The Chief Justice & President, Supreme Court of Kenya, Martha Koome, has appointed Stephen Musau as a member of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal for a period of six (6) years with effect from 15th March, 2022.

PUBLIC SECTOR

Appointments

  • Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning, Ukur Yatani, has appointed Nancy N. Muriuki, Percy Opio George Mokua Obiria, Elizabeth Ntambi Muvui and Stephen Ogenga to be members of the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 1st November, 2021.
  • Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning, Ukur Yatani, has appointed Ben Rogers M. Milaih to be a member of the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board, for a period of one (1) year, with effect from 1st November, 2021.
  • Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning, Ukur Yatani, has appointed Nancy N. Muriuki, and Joseph M. Kanyi as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson to the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 1st November, 2021.
  • Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Gender, Senior Citizen Affairs and Special Programmes, Margaret Kobia, has appointed various persons to be members of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 9th February, 2022.
  • Cabinet Secretary for Health, Mutahi Kagwe, has appointed numerous persons as members of the Board of Kenya Health Profession Oversight for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 4th March, 2022.
  • Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works, James Macharia, has appointed Emile Nguza Arao to be the Director-General of the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, for a period of four (4) years, with effect from the 22nd April, 2022.  
  • The Attorney General has appointed Prof. Busalile Jack Mwimali to be the editor of the National Council of Law Reporting, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 10th January, 2022.

TRADE & MANUFACTURING SECTOR 

  • The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority has listed names of various applicants seeking to apply for variation or issue of Air Service Licences. The Authority seeks any representation in favour of or against any application to be made in writing to the Director-General and the applicant.  

LAND & ENVIRONMENT SECTOR

Environmental Impact Assessment

The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has received an Environmental Impact Assessment Study Report for the proposed clean Bus Rapid Transit Core Line 3 in Nairobi County and has invited members of the public to submit oral or written comments within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of the notice to the Director General, NEMA.
