THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

The National Assembly adjourned on December 2, 2022,  for a two-month long Christmas break. On  December 8, there was a special sitting in the House. Among the issues Speaker Moses Wetangula said were to be transacted during the sitting were notification of a special motion to approve nominees for appointment to the Commission of Revenue Allocation (CRA) and conveyance of urgent messages from the Executive or the Senate.
