Ms. Adan was elected on the Party for Development and Reforms (PDR) ticket. She joined politics in 2013 on nomination to the Senate by URP. At the Senate, she served as the Vice Chairperson of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Relations. Professionally, Mrs. Adan is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She started working in the provincial administration as a District Officer (DO) at the age of 22 years. She was the first administrator from the Borana community. She has also served as a commissioner at the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights. Mrs. Dullo is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, Fida Kenya, Board member of Pastoralist Women Access to Justice and a Board member of Kivulini Trust. Mrs. Dullo has a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Laws degree in Governance, Democracy and Legal Process. Furthermore, also attended paramilitary training at the Administrative Police (AP) Training School. She is an alumnus of Garbatula High School.
