Hon. Kipkorir started school in Maregut Primary School in 1975 and sat his Certificate of Primary Education in 1981. He then proceeded to Bartolimo Secondary School from 1982-1985 where he sat for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education. He went to Kabarnet High School from the year 1986 to 1987 for his Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education. For undergraduate he went to University of Nairobi to study Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the year from 1988-1991. He proceeded to pursue a postgraduate Diploma in Law at the Kenya School in 1992.

He started working at Industrial & Commercial Development Corporation as a legal officer from 1993-1995 as a legal officer. He also worked as a legal officer at Central Bank of Kenya from 1995-1998. He worked as a proprietor at Cheptumo & Company from 1998-2007. He first got elected as Member of Parliament, Baringo North Constituency where he served in the Kenya National Assembly as from 2008-2013. He also served as Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs from 2008 to 2013. He currently serves as the Member of Parliament, Baringo North Constituency as from 2013. He was a member of the following committees from the year 203 to 2017: Departmental Committee on Justice & Legal Affairs, House Business Committee and Committee on Pensions. He has been the Chairperson of the following committees: Commitee on Delegated Legislation and Departmental Committee on Justice & Legal Affairs.
