COMMUNITY WILDLIFE CONSERVATION COMMITTEES

The Cabinet Secretary for Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage appoints the following persons to serve as members of the Community Wildlife Conservation Committees in respect of each county.

DISSOLUTION OF COMPANIES

A gazette notice has been issued inviting the any person to show cause why the companies listed therein should not be struck off from the Register of Companies at the expiry of three (3) months from the date of publication of the Notice.

NEMA

The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has received an Environmental Impact Assessment Study Report for the following projects:

·       The proposed residential development (apartments) on LR no 209/22274 (original no 209/20681) along Murang’a road, Nairobi City County. Soil Merchants Kenya Limited, proposes to construct a single residential block comprising of one basement, ground floor, 22 typical upper floors aid a terrace floor. The project will comprise a total of 594 units (264 No of one-bedroom apartments and 330 No of studio apartments) and facilities on LR No 209/22274 (Original No 209/20681) along Muranga Road, Nairobi City County.

·       For the proposed 21km buffer expansion project in south west of Mau Forest zones between Kericho and Kuresoi North in Kericho and Nakuru counties and invites public comments. The proponent Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation, proposes to extend the existing buffer on the remaining stretch of 2 10 ha (21km long at 100m width) between Kericho and Kuresoi North which will consist of 70% tea plantation and 30% conservation areas (under natural/indigenous vegetation) and riparian area (grass and bamboo vegetation)

·       For the proposed funeral home on plot title no Makueni/unoa/5794 along Wote-Makindu road, in Kwa Ngulue area within Wote Township, in Makueni County and invites public comments. The proponent Darnel Kioko Kasangi, is proposing to develop a single storey funeral home comprising of a ground floor, first floor, an incinerator and other associated amenities on Plot Title No Makueni/Unoa/5794.

A gazette notice has been given to remove the mentioned goods from the Customs Warehouse within thirty (30) days from the date of this notice or they will be sold by public auction on the 21st December, 2022. The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA)

The KCAA has gazetted its decisions on applications for air service licences whose particulars were previously published in the Kenya Gazette Notice No 10679 of 2022.

The Kenya Information And Communications Act

The Director-General of the Communications Authority of Kenya has given notice of applications to the Communication Authority of Kenya for the grant of licences. The said representation and/or objection must be filed on or before expiry of thirty (30) days from the date of publication of the notice and a copy of the same be forwarded to the applicant.
